The spinner dome is a single or two piece part made from aluminum alloy usually custom painted, but optionally also polished.
Our aluminum spinners use well proven design features with accumulated millions of flight hours in the harshest climates.
The bulkheads are made from spin formed or die forged aluminum alloy.
The front bulkhead could be seen as a part of the hub assembly for certain variable pitch propeller models.
The rear and / or the front bulkheads are as attachment point for static balancing weights.
Filler plates increase the stiffness of the dome around the cutouts for the blades. The dome is attached to the bulkhead with stainless steel spinner screws.
Aluminum Spinners are available for Avia Propeller certain propeller models and come usually custom painted to fit exactly to the aircraft, but they can also be polished to achieve a mirror effect.
Aluminum Propeller Spinner
The spinner dome is a single piece part made from fiber reinforced composite (Kevlar®).
It is extremely crack resistant as well as very light and free of any structural corrosion, which basically gives the spinner dome an unlimited life time.
